While the names will change from M1 and M2 to M3 and M4, the decision-making process for selecting TaylorMade fairway woods will remain pretty much the same. More specifically, M4 fairway woods will feature larger profiles and shallower clubfaces, which will make them more forgiving than the M3 models, as well as easier to hit from the turf, especially for those with more modest clubhead speeds. That said, M4 fairway woods feature bonded hosels and no movable weight technology, so for those who want the ability to make adjustments to their fairway woods to create their optimal trajectory, ball flight, and spin rate, the M3 would be the better choice. For those who aren’t as concerned with customization but would like a smaller profile and enhanced workability, M4 Tour fairway woods would be worth exploring as well.
